A narrated poem about the environmental age set against a plethora of CG, Illustrations, and Animations from a team spanning four continents
The Production
Having discovered my previous short film The Stars & The Stones online, Barbed Wire FX sent me an email of praise in which they outlined their intentions to work together on a future project.
At their request I flew to Los Angeles for a meeting with the CEO, and they soon committed their involvement to The Velvet Abstract.
The following year was spent recruiting Artists to work remotely from their own studios. Spanning four continents, the production now has talent working on the film in America; Switzerland; the UK; Germany; Sweden; Australia; Serbia; Canada; Malaysia; France; Mexico, and New Zealand.
Individually they have worked on: Spiderman 2; Pirates Of The Caribbean; The Manchurian Candidate; Solaris; Alias; Transformers; Hostel: Part II; Shutter Island; Avatar; and Lost.
We also secured the services of the Film Composer William Camilleri who has now scored 11 original tracks for the film.
Having Editing numerous Hollywood movies, Patrick J Don Vito has also signed up to be the Supervising Editor.
